Alcohol ?s
I've read several things about being able to bring alcohol onboard but can't find any specific amounts. Anyone know if there is a limit on what you can bring? Like 1 case of beer per person? How about a bottle of rum?

I don't think there is a limit as long as you carry it on. We took two bottles of champagne, 6 bottles of wine and a bottle of tequila.

There is no limit, you may bring as much as you like, however it must be in a carry-on bag.

No limit - but you must be able to carry it onboard with you (not checked or in checked luggage).

We bring reciepts for our alcohol on longer cruises just in case we have leftover. Luckily we have finished it all but it could be tough trying to prove to a customs agent that it wasn't purchased duty free so we bring them just in case.
On our last cruise we had to do express check off so we were up super early and our veranda overlooked the dock. We watched as the handlers literally threw luggage ontop of other luggage. This is why it MUST not be checked in your luggage and carried on.

We were able to find plastic bottles at the Publix in Cocoa Beach. Not only do they not break, but they weigh a lot less in your carry on bag. We took in two different bottles of rum and two different whiskeys and didn't have any issues.

There s a size limit for your carry on bag, check the DCL for the specifics on the size, as long as the bag is the correct size bring as much as you can pack or drink.

I think that is the "official" line. I don't recall ever hearing of it being enforced.

Do you normally bring a case of water on with you? Is it worth it?

Yes, you can carry-on a case. You can even use a collapsible luggage cart to carry on cases of whatever you want, tho DCL wants you to cover it with a plastic garbage bag. |

I have read repeatedly that the drinking water on the ship is filtered in the same way that most bottled water is filtered, so there's not much point to it.

I have heard that the water onboard is overpriced, so that was my reason for asking. The luggage cart is a great idea! Thanks!!

Answer While adult Guests ages 21 and older may bring alcohol onboard, the following guidelines apply: Outside alcohol cannot be consumed in any lounge or public area At Palo and Remy, a $20 corkage fee will be charged for outside wine and champagne Beverages must be packed in your carry-on bag—which must not exceed 22 inches wide, 14 inches high and 9 inches deep in dimension Coolers filled with personal items (e.g. soda, alcohol, chips, candy, etc.) may not be brought on board. Please note: Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to remove fragile items (including beverages) from checked luggage. In such cases, items will be stored and returned at the end of the voyage.
