Good stage foundation?

Has anyone ever used foundation to cover a scar or tattoo? I'm looking for a recommendation for a good foundation to cover a tattoo on my wrist when I work. I know people normally recommend stage makeup but I really need the name of a brand or product to look into. I'm willing to spend over $20 if I have to.

My DH and DS both have their own stage make-up kits for various productions they're in. Many stage make-up artists recommend Ben Nye brand foundation. That's what DH and DS both use. It comes in tons of shades so you can very closely match your skin tone. The first time you buy it, it's best to actually go into a store and test out different shades. Dance stores and costume shops tend to carry it. You could probably look online to see where it's sold in your area. The employees in those stores are usually pretty knowledgeable about stage make up and will help you choose the right color. It's useful to put the shade on your skin, then look at it in indoor and outdoor lighting. After you find a shade that works for you, you can buy it online if it's more convenient.

Dermablend. It completely covers dark tattoos.

Thank you both! I looked at each product and it looks like the dermablend will be what I need. And the good part is they sell it in Kissimmee not that far from here!
