We thought that we would head to Coki Beach but after reading reviews, I am concerned about safety of getting there and the surrounding area. Anyone recently been there or have any suggestions of what to do instead?

I'm not cruising until feb 2014, but am so curious about this topic as well. We will be on eastern fantasy with a 5 year old and 9 month old.

Magen's bay is a good family beach

I didn't realize there was a huge safety issue. This is what we were planning on doing with our 2 toddlers after visiting Coral World in a few weeks.

Coki has never seemed dangerous to me. I have seen many toddlers and kids there playing. It is a local beach and you will see a lot of locals there but not scary.
