Which loop for us?
I am looking at reserving a site for October for my husband and I in our 27' motorhome. This will be our first time at the fort. We will not have a dog and would like to be close to the marina?

100 or 200 would be for you. 100 is closest but there will be more foot traffic than 200.

We camped in loop 200(site 202) with a 27' MH in 2011. Our site was very close to the CS and the walk to the Marina, Settlement Trading Post, and Trails End was easy. I am a couple of days away from being able to make a res. For our 2014 trip to the Fort and will request the same loop. Good Luck and Happy Planning!

These are "Preferred" sites with a a concrete drive and smaller sand pad. They have full hookups (water, power, sewer, cabletv) and are down by the beach/Trails End area. A 27 footer will fit no problem.
El Primo location!

We are checking in to Fort Wilderness on February 3rd. We have a 36 foot motorhome with 4 slide outs. I am trying to find the best loop to stay in that would put us closest to the beach, restaurants, store, transportation, etc. I was thinking about requesting the 700 loop, but now I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated!! We are not bringing any pets with us if that matters.

We always stay in the 100 loop with no pets. Actually, the foot traffic is only a little worse if you are in the first 3-4 campsites on way to foot path to the settlement/boat dock. Otherwise, just the normal amount of people walk clear around the whole loop to get anywhere.

There is a Smart Phone app "Sites at the Fort" that gives you pictures and dimensions of all the sites.

700 and 400 are the closest Premium loops to the beach area. If that's the type of site you reserved, call Disney back and add the length of your RV as a note on your ressie and request "close to beach". 700 is kinda long and skinny. Sites at one end are close to the beach, the other end, not so much. You could get a 700 site as you request but it might be on the far end. If you provide the info above, trust the Fort assigner to get you close. Premiums are 18' wide and well over 50' deep so your RV will fit in any Premium site just fine. Bama ED

Thanks for the help Bama Ed. I will call and add the length of our motorhome and close to the beach on our ressie. I am so excited to be at the Fort. Looking forward to a vacation
