The post-padding makes it darn near impossible to read each page.

Man Law proposal:

Post-padding is only acceptable after the current DDC thread has reached page 250. At any other time, post-padding will be frowned upon. And nobody likes to be frowned upon.

Also since I didn't do a countdown for the march trip like I did for the Oct one, I looked it up and it's 45 days till we leave!!!

This was also my family's first trip down without traveling with our parents or a group of friends. It was so nice to be on our own schedule that I think we may make it a more regular practice.

It looks like things have been busy here so I'm not going to attempt to catch up on everything. I do see it looks like some others may have been inspired to try out the running thing. I have to tell you that even though my legs still hurt it was an awesome experience. Not sure when my next Disney race will be but I'm thinking the Wine and Dine half possibly in 2014. Not sure I'll be able to swing it this year. I was also inspired by the runners on Sunday and have my sights set on the possibility of the Goofy challenge in 5 years for the 25th anniversary. Need to take off some more weight though before I try for a full.

Sorry we missed each other. I tried to make the meet up but the busses at POR were late. I was out there waiting at 3:30 but we didn't see a bus until 4:10. By the time we got there I had enough time to check my bag and then start the slow journey with the sea of humanity to the corrals.
It was chaos at the start! Sorry I got the the podcast so late, would of like to of spent more time with chatting with everyone.

That's way too late to be smiling. I think I'll make a decision in the next few weeks as to whether or not I'll do this next year.
Chris if you search my name (make sure the first letter is capitalized), there are quite a few pics of us together.

That's no fun. Hope you feel better.

Old alliances Tim. A new race means new partnerships. Besides, I think Paul would rather run with the one with the shiv versus running against her.
So you are trying to convince Paul to run next to the person with the shiv? I don't think he is that dumb.

Not sure, but if you always "look like" you are on something, maybe if you are actually on something you'll look like your not on anything.

Wish I was going somewhere in 45 days.

Didn't want to see Zerf's personal bedroom pictures and I don't need your shower shots either.

But thanks for asking.

Would you rather run on the team with the shiv or run against it?

Abandon ship! The Boardwalk is going down!

Down the hall from my room a large leak is coming out of the ceiling. They started working on it this morning. About 6 guys are there including a welder with an acetylene torch. Still no success. Kind of fun to watch though. Waiting for them to hand out life preservers.

Hit Beaches and Cream for lunch and for the first time I was disappointed with the cheeseburger. The bacon was like leather. Stopped by ESPN and the bartender took real good care of me with a Vodka and tonic. Feeling no pain right now.

Still have to do laundry and pack. May go to Dueling Pianos tonight.

I wrapped up my first run at the gym in a long time. Mostly I lift. Any cardio I do is on an elliptical machine. Now I remember why I hate treadmills. This one beat the crap out of my legs and was in dire need of a belt tightening. I got a mile done in just under 14 minutes but my calves were killing me. My calves seem to get super tight really fast. They really don't loosen up either. I need to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it or training for the half marathon is going to be a Beverly and a half.

I did my workout by drinking a beer and eating popcorn.
