Tipping is $12 per person per day. They need the cash - it makes up their income. Candy is a nice extra, but please plan on tipping them money.

My 12-year-old is really mature and I'm bringing her to Palo. I'm sure if I tip the maitre'd a fiver or so he'll look the other way.

THANK YOU ALL! I am laughing so hard right now I had to shut my door to my office! Oh and can DCL move my cabin and upgrade would be nice if my neighbor is purposely blowing smoke onto my verandah. That will be great, thanks!

I hope DCL won't mind me carrying on 40 cases of alcohol to set up a bar out of my stateroom to supplement the cost of the cruise. I make a mean konk kooler.

Is there a problem with bringing a rolling cooler? I would like to bring a few cases of beer and enjoy them up at the pool....
