Buying tickets from Disney store.

We are 5ish weeks from our trip and I would like to try to buy our tickets from the Disney store. It is at an out of the way mall so I wanted to know if it would be worth it to make the trip.

From my understanding the tickets online are discounted a little from what you would pay at the gate....correct me if I am mistaken. Do you get that same discount at the Disney store? I can call them but I thought someone here might know.

Also I know you get a % off by using the Disney Visa at the Disney store if you spend over $50. Does this discount apply to tickets?

Thanks!

Buy online from Undercover Tourist. I'll bet their discount beats your Disney VISA discount. Other than the VISA discount, you won't get any other discount from the Disney Store.

UT is the ONLY way to go. Their prices beat everyone. Taxes and mailing (free) are included in the stated price you pay.

It's posted right on the page. It should show their price, the gate price, and your savings. Anywhere from a few bucks to 30 bucks or so. It all depends on the number of days and options you buy.

We tried to buy WDW tickets at the store and they were all expired. When the manager went to activate them, they wouldn't activate. He called HQ and they said based on the code on the back of the tickets, their stock was too old. The manager called around to all the other stores in our area and they had the same stock. I guess we just don't have enough WDW folks in our area to move through the stock quickly enough.

There's much better savings on longer tickets. For instance, you can save $29 on a six day park hopper.
