First time Disney Cruiser - so many questions

I have a few questions. We are doing a 4 night Dream cruise this year. How do I find out if the pirate party happens on our cruise? I know the formal nights are on the 7 night cruises but I don't know what to expect on the shorter cruises.

Also, how do you put a sign on your door? Use magnets or tape?

And lastly, when they say cruise casual for dinner does that mean you have to wear pants or dresses for dinner? Or does that mean for each meal?

The 4-night cruise will have a pirate party. It will also have a "dress-up optional" night when many dress up but many do not.

Absolutely no tape or adhesive or any kind on the doors or walls. DCL may fine you. You may use magnets to decorate your door.

Cruise casual attire is the general dress-code for dinner in the MDRs. Pants are fine, or a casual dress. If using the MDR for breakfast or dinner, they still request no swim suits, tank tops - basically pull on shorts and t-shirt if you've been at the pool. Around the ship and particularly at the quick service and buffet, swim attire is fine at breakfast or lunch.

Enjoy your cruise!
