Christmas decorations in hotel room worth it?
We've been told it's an extra £89 for a 4 night stay, although we do love christmas a lot i'm not sure if it's really worth paying this much extra!
Anyone that has experienced them before, do you think it is worth it for this price?

May I ask which hotel that is in? As I asked when booking the DLH today and they said it was £105 for four nights. I am still deciding!

As I mentioned in the other thread on this I stayed in one of these rooms in the DLH last year. It was nice and added to the Christmassy feel, I am not sure if the presents are just generic or based on whom is staying but we (couple no kids) got a stuffed toy and a bauble and some sweets so I would imagine it was the same for all rooms.
Having not stayed in the HNY I can't comment, however the main advantage of the room in the DLH was that it overlooked the entrance to the park; not a park view but we could see the train station and about 17% of Dreams I don't know if all the rooms are in the same location but if they are then you are basically booking a nice view as wellI would say it is worth it, I have pictures from last year if anyone is interested.

That was for Hotel NY! I'm hoping you still get the same amount as DLH

This is the tree lit up at night, it was relatively small but this meant it didn't take up too much room. It was very nice at nighttime to dim the lights and just leave the tree on. The maids did this for turn down, so arriving back in the room after dinner felt very Christmassy!
![]() You can see the garland above the window more clearly in this shot, the items on the table were part of the gifts, we had taken off the Duffy teddy and bauble by this point ![]() All the decroated rooms had these stickers/decals on the doors to identify them ![]() This is a close up of the garland ![]() There were also baubles/tinsel on the bedposts and a few other bits and pieces.
