Car Rentals Near Terminal - The DIS Discussion Forums

Can anyone tell me what Car Rental Companies r in the Port Canaveral Terminal. Last cruise we had our own Vehicle but this July we will using a frontal vehicle and need to drop it off before the cruise.......Thanks

They are all essentially on the same road. Hertz and Budget are closest (within a block of each other). Thrifty/Dollar and Avis are farther down the road by a couple miles. Enterprise is somewhere close, but I'm not sure where. Supposedly Alamo and National are now doing some sort of joint venture with Enterprise, but they don't have their own outlet.

Just about any of the car rental companies provide shuttle service to/from the port. The closest is probably Hertz. Avis is a couple of miles away. Not really a big difference when you consider that the biggest variable is how long it takes for a shuttle to arrive and load rather than the actual drive time.

I dont think Hertz has a shuttle.

We have used Budget for the last several years.

We have a minivan for one day (one way) for $70

We have a van rented from Avis. I didn't realize how far away it was. There are 11 of us plus luggage. Would the shuttle take all of us and if not, is there somewhere for us to wait while someone goes to get the rental?

They do. We used it in June.

Used Avis in December and their shuttle took probably 20 people plus luggage. They have more than one shuttle bus, some larger than others, that run in a continuous loop from the port to the office.
