apps for 3 and under?

Ok I am a nanny for a 1 year old girl and 3 year old boy. Well the little man was up early today and to keep him quiet I let him play on my tablet. He likes brick builder but dosent quite understand that there have to be two bricks of the same color. I was wondering if there are any other fun apps he might enjoy? Anything for the 1 year group? Free or cheap would be best but Im willing to splurge a little.TIA

I just went onto the apps store narrowed it down to free and children. I downloaded everything I thought my niece would like and once she tried them, I deleted the ones she didn't enjoy.

Here's what my niece liked: Fireworks, Glow Draw, Let's Color, Color Mix HD, and the Disneyland app. I have an ipad, so I don't know if these will be available for your tablet. She also really liked an app called Monkey Lunchbox or something like that. She played with it for a long time in the Apple store.

Anything from duck duck moose, first words, interactive alphabet ABC's, I hear ewe, shape puzzle. My son who is almost 4 also likes pocket chef, angry birds and where's my water.
