Fav place to eat at Hollywood Studios.
We were going to make reservations at Hollywood and Vine but the reviews were not great. Where is the best place to eat there?

If you have very young kids, H&V might be ok for breakfast. They'd love the characters.
My fave is Sci Fi. LOVE the atmosphere. So much fun. Food is good. I love the wings, and spinch dip, and shakes. Also love the burgers. They brought the ribs back, yay! Love those. They now have deep fried pickles, dying to try that. We always have great meals here and a great time. I love the antics at 50's prime, love the atmosphere, and the PB&J shake. OMG so delish. Food for me isnt outstanding, as the fried chicken was way too salty. Table next to us said the same thing. But many here love it. I think its definitely worth a shot.

I absolutely love Sci-Fi and 50s Prime Time
Sci-Fi has an atmosphere that can't be beat! I love the burgers, onion rings and shakes. 50s has a great menu if you want comfort food I love the fried chicken! Mama Melrose's gets good reviews but I haven't tried it myself. Terri |

If you have little ones then H&V is fantastic for the character meals. Food is just ok but the character interaction more than makes up for it. Best interaction you can get in my opinion. Other than that I definitely vote for 50's, although its more comfort food than fine dining. My brother said that the Brown Derby was one of the best meals he's ever had, but I've never tried it.

Love 50's prime time cafe!! The sampler with the fried chicken, roast & meatloaf( although meatloaf was ok) is really good, also live the onion rings & s'mores!!
We tried sci fi diner once and thought it was ok, neat atmosphere and ok food, thought it was a little to dark for dinner. |

We love Sci Fi Diner and 50's Prime Time Cafe. We also enjoyed HBD (signature restaurant) when we ate there for the first time this past September. We also like to eat at Mama Melrose when we are doing the F dining package.

The cupcakes at Starring Rolls are my favorite things at DHS, whether Red Velvet, Butterfinger, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup.
I loved my lunch at 50s Prime Time - fried chicken was so yummy. DH thought it was just OK. We had horrible service, though. No antics. Just a rude waitress who clearly didn't want to be working that day. Brown Derby is wonderful but felt extremely overpriced, even by Disney standards.

It is a bit price, but the Hollywood Brown Derby is really good. We had the Deluxe Dining plan last vacation so tried it and loved it! Great service and great food!
