You are REALLY jumping the gun. NO ONE can do it yet. It is not live, and we don't know exactly when it will be. And when it starts, it will likely be limited to guests staying at a certain resort, and possibly only those with packages, and then increase the audience as it goes on. Some are saying it can be up to a year.

Others have been able to pull up the button and FP+ info on the app...
I would really like to read through it myself.. However I still have not be able to find what they have been talking about..

I'm not sure if this is b/c they have packages booked? Or within 60days of their trips...

It seems some can pull it up and some can't... I just wanted the treks and conditions others have be reading through direct from disney.... That's all...

Some points of clarification..

"FP+ is included with theme park admission" - Disney.

Everyone with a park ticket gets access to FP+. It's just a matter of "having a park ticket" to make reservations in advance prior to entering the park. APs have their info on file, Resort guests have reservations with tickets, and anyone else can enter "up to 5" regular tickets into the online system.

You have to use the right ticket for the right day though, mind you. Though presumably they all combine into one under your new RFID card or band.

And yes, the reference to offsite guests paying is that they can buy a MagicBand, but will only get a card/ticket by default. AP, Resort Guests, Photopass+ guests get bands for free.

I think that it's more likely for them to work on efficiencies in getting guests on and off the rides than reducing the length of rides. Of course, it's super unlikely that this isn't something that is looked at often.

There were reports that the iOS app (NOT the Android app) had a FastPass+ button when looking at the attractions, but it didn't work (called up a error screen or something). No one can book anything yet.

The Terms and Conditions are available on the main web site. Go to My Disney Experience, and then down the bottom, somewhere on the right I believe it was...

Seems they could make small variances on timed attractions that could have a net result of increasing capacity that would go virtually unnoticed by a majority of the park guests especially those that do not make frequent visits.

1- I'd never say "couldn't," but logically they have already maxed-out the "E-ticket" attractions due to their super popularity.

And, on coasters, there is a limit of vehicles due to safety issues.

2- Maybe not, but to actually make enough difference to "matter"
a few seconds cut wouldn't accomplish what was needed.

What about people who buy AP at stores?
You don't get a regular AP pass.. You get a voucher, which upon arriving at the parks you can exchange for a AP pass..

SO how long do you all think it will take to phase out current paper FPs? I'm assuming it would take some time and they'll still be available when we get there at the end of may so I don't need to worry myself with this??

There are certain limits to how many vehicles such systems support safely - and it's a good bet that unless they've had to remove vehicles for mechanical reasons, they are already at that capacity.

Not necessarily with each increment, but then eventually someone will realize that overall it's been shortened quite a bit. And as I mentioned in a previous post...how much does that save you? TSM isn't the largest capacity attraction to begin with, which is part of it's problem.

Several attractions have been speed up by a few seconds - Pirates, Test Track, etc.. There was an article on this recently. A few seconds each hour means hundreds to thousands of guests per hour. There was an article on it recently - it's why Country bear Jamboree is shorter.

I think you mean hundreds to thousands of guests per "day". But it all depends on what the load rates and cycle times are to begin with. It's better with something that works with a large number of people per cycle, because if you can shave enough seconds off to add an extra cycle, you get a large jump in capacity.
