FedEx spam?
I got a message from FedEx with a link- saying that my package was undeliverable. I didn't open the link. I did copy the tracking number and paste it into the FedEx site- and it came up invalid.
Is there a FedEx virus going around?

Yes, there is a spam email going around. They don't email you. They will leave a note or have the company you ordered from contact you if it was legitimate. DH and I both have gotten those messages when we haven't ordered anything. Just hit delete.

I received a similar email before Christmas, supposedly from UPS. As the previous poster suggested, just delete the email without opening it. It is very unlikely the courier company has your email address (or phone number for that matter).

Do not, under any circumstances, click on the links in these e-mails. They'll install malware on your PC.
Anytime you get an unsolicited email like this, whether it's supposedly from FedEx, UPS, Facebook, whatever, if you want to follow up and see if something's really going on with your account, go directly to the company's site by typing the address into your web browser. |

We get emails from our parent company about spam like this.
Interesting to see...sometimes things are spelled wrong or a phrase is not "American."

Thanks. I didn't open the link. I also wasn't expecting a package, so it threw me off. You never know if someone (family or friend) sent something for Christmas, you know?
I deleted- all's well that ends well!

I was getting several a day during christmas from fed-ex, ups and usps. They all went to spam and I just deleted.

I've been getting those emails from fedx, ups, and usps for a couple years. I just delete them as I know I haven't ordered anything from anybody. Now I'm getting a lot of weight loss ones with a celebrity name on them. And of course I get a lot of the 'enlargement' ones.....
