Via Napoli pizza?
I've been looking at all of the pictures of the pizzas and they all look like they are drowning in sauce. But I've also heard that the sauce has a lot of chunks of tomatos in it. Is any of this correct?? Not sure if my picky eaters can handle it if they are either.

We like the pizza there. It is a thin crispy crust. I didn't think they were drowning in sauce, and I don't remember any chunks of tomatoes. All of our picky eaters (even one who hates pizza) really liked it.

GREAT!!!!
I thought this would be a good option for us until I saw some of the pictures. The ones that I saw just look iffy to me. Now I can't wait to try it. |

As others have said, no chunks--------Hate chunks, love Via Napoli pizza. Not drowning in sauce. We have been probably 6-8 times and never had a bad meal.

The sauce on our pizza was very thin (almost runny) without any chunks at all. And the crust was very good too...thin and somewhat crisp on the edges due to the high temperature they fire it at. All of us enjoyed it and we have an ADR to go back on our next visit!

As is the case in Italy, the pizza has round pieces of mozzarella instead of shredded, so you can see the sauce more than on a typical American pizza. But we loved Via Napoli and didn't think it had too much sauce. Some people don't like it because it isn't what they're used to, but I definitely think it's worth a try.

I love Via Napoli's four cheese pizza (I have them add red marinara sauce) so much that I go at least twice a trip

We had lunch at Via Napoli and ordered the Pizza and thought it was fantastic! In fact, I was just in Rome last spring and I thought the pizza was very true to what they serve there! We are looking forward to the pizza when we go back in December!
Enjoy!! |
