Well, you could always figure that you don't want to get off the ship and end your vacation after your 3 night cruise, so you'll book the next 4 night cruise!
Seriously, we prefer to do parks before the cruise because if we encounter any air issues, I'd rather miss a day in the parks than miss the ship (literally). Also, having had a lost luggage situation...it is more pleasant on land and easier to deal with that way. Parks are a lot of work, especially for moms. Cruise is relaxing and Magical. |

It sounds like it all comes down to personal preference.
This is our first cruise, for our honeymoon. We will be getting married in WDW the day before we leave for our cruise. We fly down on Monday (from Seattle, so it is an all day flight) and we will tour the parks from Tuesday - Thursday. With the wedding there was no other way to do it, but our feeling is that between the travel, the parks, the wedding and all that family time we will be ready to completely veg out. I love the parks but I think it would be hard for me to really get into the WDW excitement after relaxing on a cruise. |
