Any Parades at Epcot??
I've been doing my planning for a day at Epcot and it has been 13 years since I've been!! When we were there last time, they had an awesome parade with so many cool things, I especially remember alot of performers walking on stilts! I hope I'm missing something because I really enjoy the unique parades at all the parks!!

Sadly, no. Tapestry of Nations (and Dreams) ended about 10 years ago. They were wonderful parades, but sadly no more.

I wish they would bring that back, but sadly it caused a lot of congestion.

Totally agree it's sad that they have nothing of the quality and originality of the Tapestry parades. We loved them and had never seen anything like it before it started at World Showcase. Have many pictures and bookmarks for videos on the internet of the parades and music.
Someone who had traveled much more of the world than we ever had likened them to things they saw in Europe. It was great. I always thought that after a while they'd bring back something similar if not the same thing. I understand from CMs who took part that the costumes and maintenance were a lot of work and expense, but Disney does Illuminations every night and that's not "cheap" !! By now there's a whole new generation of kids who have never seen the parades and would likely enjoy them!

World Showcase had a lot of traffic problems regarding parades. I doubt there will be another one in that location.

Yes, it was the Tapestry Parade!!!! I LOVED that parade, it was so unique and I was really hoping my kids would have the opportunity to see it this year!! So sad that it is not still happening!! They'd have such a unique opportunity to have a world showcase type of parade there if it weren't for the congestion!! So disappointing!!!

Regarding the traffic problems, I have seen that mentioned over the years many times. I have, however, never been able to see where the traffic problems in WS were any more, or less, than the traffic problems the parades create in any of the other three parks. Any parade, any park, creates a lot of traffic problems. No?

At other locations you could bypass the parade and the standees watching it. At World Showcase you could not. Once that parade started, nobody could walk past it. There wasn't room for passersby on the walkway.
Having been stuck behind it many times (yes it was a great parade but there were times I wanted to go elsewhere and not watch it) I don't think they can put another parade in that area.
