Are you travelling with children? If so, then I say YES! My kids LOVE LOVE the antics. They still talk about it

I agree with Autism.... Definetely fun antics......I'm sure I'd have just as good a time even w/out the kids...LoL

Hopefully you're meat eaters though....Thats the only thing that my wife doesn't like about it...She only eats fish and chicken...& the plate has ribs brisket & something else I think..But a very good choice though.

Nobody in my family liked Whispering Canyon. We probably won't ever go back. The food was blah and my DH didn't care for the antics. He intentionally DID NOT ask for Ketchup because he didn't want all the hoohah they do surrounding the passing of all the Ketchup bottles from table to table.

I wouldn't bother.. The antics are a little cute, but they get old quickly. And the skillet is blech.. the cornbread is great, but the rest is just a greasy mess.. If you're only making 4 ADRs, I wouldn't waste one on Whispering Canyon..

We went on New Years Eve and the only thing worse than the service was the food!
We had to ask twice for the platter of mashed potatoes and veggies and for a party of 5 adults they only gave us (1) small platter of meat. When we asked for another platter of meat they brought us dessert instead. The quality of the food and desserts were elementary and bland.

Someone mentioned the "antics." I would consider it a notch or two below the Prime Time Cafe in that regard. While we didn't really care for the extra attention at Prime Time, the kids loved the ketchup thing at Whispering Canyons.

If I were you, I'd go. I find it amazing how an otherwise average restaurant was able to carve out such a niche simply by making a few small additions ---- such as the ketchup. At Disney, it is the little things that make a moment memorable, and whoever came up with the extras there should be commended.

On a side note....Not to bring anyone down, but my kids had allergic reactions there. We have no idea what they were allergic to, but unfortunately it will keep us from going back again.

We werent overly impressed with it. The food was ok (except the apple pie, it was really great) but we got no antics. We were there during a really slow time (only 2 or 3 other tables) so that may have been part of the problem.

We think WC is well worth it. It is our daughter's only "must do" for our upcoming trip. BTW, When did it change to all-you-can-eat only?

Cheers

I wonder if it will remain a must do after you experience the new menu... We used to love WC but not any more!

Whispering Canyon is our opinion is a restaruant with a stale gimmick (antics). No one in our group cared for our dining experience and would easily select other dining destinations. In our experiences the service was directed toward table ordering excessive amounts of alcoholic beverages. The food in general had no wow factor; salty and greasy were the common characterics of the food.
