Talking Chobani Bite

Have you tried these yet? I just had my first one tonight.

For those of you looking for a snack but trying to watch your calories, this wasn't too bad.

The containers are smaller than a regular Chobani yogurt. The yogurt itself is fully flavored throughout (no fruit on the bottom) and each one is mixed with something.

Tonight I had the raspberry with pieces of dark chocolate throughout. The Caramel Pineapple was sold out but that's the one I want. There is also a Coffee Chocolate one I think.

I really liked this one and I'm not a raspberry fan but it seemed more of a "treat" than regular yogurt and a nice substitute while I'm trying to wean off the junk food for now.

I never saw them, but I'm going to look for them when I go shopping, sounds like something I could use to snack on instead of junk. Thank you for the review.

I meant to add that they are 100 calories a serving.

Here's the nutrition info from the raspberry flavor:

100 calories for 3.5 oz.
Calories from fat - 15
Total Fat - 1.5 g
Sat Fat - 1 g
Cholest - 0 mg
Sodium 0 40 mg
Total Carb - 13 g
Sugar 13 g
Protein 8 g

This is definitely a more "dessert" version of Chobani. It's sweeter and more dense and probably not meant to be used as a "healthful" yogurt serving. It is helping with my sweet tooth, though, that I'm trying to get under control.

I just got the last package of them today at Walmart. I got the fig one with orange. I haven't tried it yet but I am super excited because I love just about anything with fig.

Oh, that sounds good. Target was wiped out of all the types with the exception of coffee and the raspberry chocolate chip. I can't wait to try all the others.

I saw the bites on an end cap at our target the other day. The display was fully stocked, and I didn't buy any.

I've been eating Oikis brand lately.

These, I don't think, are meant to be treated like "regular" yogurt, although, I suppose they can. They have all the cultures, etc., but they are different. I still bought regular yogurt to have after lunch like a usually do (my go to yogurts are Noosa, Chobani, and Fage). It seems these might be more "snacky" if that makes sense? Since I'm weaning off my Christmas holiday binge, these are fitting the bill (taking the place of my nightly ice cream habit I was getting into as well as other things).

I also noticed that the regular Chobani yogurts came out with some new flavors. I picked up a 2% banana that was very good (still prefer the pineapple) and they have a 0% pear which I have not tried yet.

I was at Wegman's this morning and they did not have the Bite line. I didn't notice the new flavors either. I'm off to Harris Teeter to get all the things Wegman's doesn't carry so maybe there will be something there. So far, it's looking like Target is the only one carrying the new stuff.

Have to check into that. I really need to lose weight since I have put on so much. This is the heaviest I've ever been in my whole life. How much are they? Seems like anything healthy and good for you costs allot more then the junk food.
