Wanted to share my excitment... - The DIS Discussion Forums

We typically stay at our home resort, AKL, and love it. It took a lot of convincing from DH that staying in another resort would be fun...well tonight we were able to book 14 nights at BLT in a 2-bedroom lake view at 7 months out! Woooooohoooooooo!

Oh I would LOVE to stay at BLT...just costs too many points. Congrats to you! It will be an awesome trip.

That is one of our home resorts and we stayed there the first time over Christmas. We LOVED it. It is a favorite now.

Our home is BLT but we stayed at AKV for the first time this Thanksgiving. We loved AKV but love BLT also. The closeness to MK (we always walk) an the monorail is just great. Nice for pool hopping as you can get on the monorail and visit the GF or the Poly or get on a boat and go to WLV - all great fun pools. Enjoy!!

I am very excited about how close it is to MK. My daughter will be 5 and DS will be 16 months so the selling point for me was MK. I love love love AKL but it is a long bus ride to MK and Downtown Disney.

I am still in shock we got what we wanted for July at 7 months out!

Have a great time-we own at BLT and love it! Just got back from Christmas there-we only had a 1 bedroom-a 2bedroom must be delightful!

ive never stayed at BLT but you guys must try BWV and BCV! Congrats on getting out and trying something new!

Hehehe we have stayed at BWV and BCV! Loved the location of BCV to Epcot. Both resorts are nice and have perks but for me there is burning better than watching my daughters face as a giraffe walks by but....we will see what she thinks about fireworks from the roof?!
