April crowds

We are planning on going to WDW Apr 14 to Apr 24. How are the crowds during this time and how is the weather? We have never gone in April. Thanks

Crowds should be average- the first week of April should be very busy but crowds should be better after Easter week is over. The weather is usually beautiful in April. Have fun!!

Last April I was there around the same time and crowds were very managable! The rides were never over a 20 minute wait, and we had a blast. Character waits however, were pretty long, on average we waited about an hour for a character.

My thoughts on that: there's lots of pre school and younger aged kids there who can't and don't have interest in going on the big rides, but love the characters.

Weather was good, not as warm as we expected, we were still in shorts, but needed sweaters some mornings/evenings.

April crowds are generally very manageable, especially the week after Spring Break. That's when my mom and I always want to go. The weather is glorious, the crowds aren't as busy as usual, and it's just wonderful.
