Santa Barbara
I am so excited! Only 3 more weeks until our 20th anniversary trip to CA! We are spending 4 nights in Anaheim, 2 nights in Santa Barbara, and 2 nights in Beverly Hills. We will be in SB on the date of our 20th, looking for restaurant suggestions for our anniversary dinner as well as general stuff to do there! We love kayaking, is that something that can be done in SB in early February? Thanks for any tips!

Check out the Biltmore Hotel for their restaurants. Also Bouchon, just off State St.

It's kind of fun to do the impossible.

I second the Bella Vista at the Biltmore.
But I always opt for Stonehouse Restaurant. It's at the San Ysidro Ranch in the hills above Montecito. It's expensive. The floor is heated. The floor! I love to arrive an hour or so before the reservation to walk around a bit and sit at the bar before dinner. |
