Alaska Character Breakfast

Is there a character breakfast on the Alaskan cruises?
I thought I read somewhere that there are on cruises longer than 7 days, but I just wanted to confirm!

Thanks!

They do have one, but there are not many characters, and none of them are in Alaska outfits.

Typically, the Character breakfast is on the classic ship sailing of at least 7 nights and longer. They need 3 at sea days (or 2 at sea days and one late port arrival day) to do them.

Since the Alaska cruise has 2 at sea, and one late arrival (Ketchikan) there is the time to do them.

That being said, they have been having them on the 6 night Galveston cruises (3 sea days) so there's a little flexibility.

Our character breakfasts had Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

Ours was on Tracy Arm day in 2011. Same characters as PP stated, tropical costumes.

We were on Tracy Arm day in 2012, too, and they were in tropical shirts

Wonder why they can't have characters in Alaskan wear since they have the costumes on board?

The character breakfasts were very fun on our Alaska cruise last Summer. We had so much fun that we spoke with the head server and he was able to book a second character breakfast for our family.

We had the CB on our Alaska cruise in August 2012. Characters wore the tropical attire. We really enjoyed it!

Probably because they're in Parrot Cay which is a tropical-themed dining room?

I can see how the Alaskan costumes would look silly in pc but maybe they could move the cb to tritons... Just a thought.

They had character breakfast on alaska cruises this year also. They were in parrot cay, had on tropical clothes. The only day they wear their Alaska clothes, is Tracy arm day, when they walk around the deck of the ship. Only day on the 7 nights they are in their Alaska outfits
