Best Day for Remy ?

I'm going on a 3 days cruise this June for my honeymoon.

We want to book Remy for one of the night, we were wondering what would be our best option.

We wanted to book it for the last night ( as a farewell to the cruise ), but I've read in some others places that on the second night there's the pirate diner and party and the food is " alright " and it is a good time to book a restaurant like Remy or Palo.

So, should we go with the last night to finish on a high note.
Or skip the pirate night and go to Remy instead, and hopefully end up with a better dining experience through out the cruise.

thanks !

You will not have the pirate menu on a three night cruise, you will have the regular rotation menu that night. Only the four night and longer cruises have a special pirate night menu.

Ok, so they do the Pirate Party, but not the special pirate menu on a 3 night cruise. Good to know then. I guess that settle the question and we will go to Remy on the third night.

If it we me, I'd look at the menus and decide which one you would most like to skip. Then, when you board, go and make your reservation for the night you'll be assigned to that place. I'll be missing a MDR on my cruise, but due to other things I have to do it our second night regardless of what MDR we are assigned to. I plan to ask our server to bring us the items I REALLY want to try but missed on our final night if it isn't too much of a hassle so I don't miss out on something great(like the grand mariner souffle)

I'd go for the middle night of a 3-night just for logistical reasons, mainly due to the dress code at Remy.

On the first night you'll have to wait for your luggage to be delivered so you can get your fancy clothes on. If it gets delayed you could have a problem being suitably dressed.

On the last night you may want to change into more casual clothes after Remy so you can pack your nice stuff in the bags you're putting out that night (before 10:30 pm) to be taken off the ship. Remy dinner is about a 3-hour event.
