Which off-property hotel for us?

DH and I will be doing an adults-only trip for 2 nights in October. I want a hotel that's as close to WDW as possible, but still a good value and very clean/nice. We want to pay less per night than a value. Thoughts?

Try the Baymont Inn on Black Lake Rd. It is right off Sherberth Road. You can take Sherberth over to Disney, you come out at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. To get back to the hotel follow the signs to the AKL and turn at the light just before you get to the lodge.

Some of the hotels near DTD have decent prices.

Cool

Homewood Suites by Hilton Lake Buena Vista-Orlando
Clean, new, good service, nice pool, close to Disney, includes daily complimentary full breakfast (mickey waffles!) and, oddly enough, complimentary continental dinner and cocktails. Rates are usually under $100 nightly.

If you're mainly looking for a close hotel with convenient transportation to the parks, Downtown Disney area resorts are the way to go. Royal Plaza, Buena Vista Palace, Hilton, Wyndham - rates usually under $100, located within WDW, and free shuttle to the parks. The Hilton is the only DTD area resort where you can get Extra Magic Hours.

Thanks! That's exactly what I'm looking for!

We have been extremely happy with royal plaza tower rooms and Hilton DTD. Great prices!
