The Daily Grind - 1/3/2013
Good morning everyone! It's sooo cold today. All I wanted to do was stay in bed with the fireplace burning at full speed. Today was first day back to school....so it was not meant to be.
Prayers and pixie dust to everyone who needs it. Happy and safe travels today Lisa! Boys up & out Work Leave early to distribute candybars to engineering club Call unemployment office to find out how much DH made last year for on FAFSA form Homework with little guy Find out about registering for Selective Service for DS - is it required? Dinner Boy Scouts - do signups for volunteers & supplies for soup kitchen on saturday Watch Big Bang Finish organizing photos onto new external HD (Love that thing! How did I ever live without one?) Crash Have a great day everyone!

my boys don't go back until next week
my sister does boy scout stuff too - oldest nephew got the arrow of light  OK todays goal is get the Storybook Circus M&G done I"m cutting out the black right now for the paper peicings

I'm up and it's freezing! Was 7 degrees when I started my car this morning. Someone, who is not me or 12, left the heat on 68 degrees last night. I was WAY too warm. I would have had it slightly higher than the 64 I usually leave it at, but 68 is way too high.
Today is... Clean bathroom Resume to my sister Wash Christmas rugs so we can put them away this weekend Clean paper out of my small closet and organize Epcot Swap - got a few more groups designed! Call and make annual appointment Call and make eye appointments Call and update ortho on new insurance Lunch - Pizza Read Pickup at school Grocery store for chicken for dinner and veggies to make soup this weekend Homework supervisor Dinner - rotisserie chicken and sides Dishes Big Bang Theory! Bed I hope everyone has a great day!

T-2 days until WDW Vacation!! Not that I'm excited or anything  Today Finish packing for trip Swap out linens Laundry Pay bills Sign and mail brother's BDAY card Empty all the trash bins in the house Start gathering 2012 tax paperwork/items Walk Scrap Breakfast for dinner Relax Have a great day, stay warm (or cool, depending where you live!) Yes, selective service is required when he turns 18... if not, they'll send a reminder... I only know this because my DsS21 got an email that he had to do it or they wouldn't process (per his mom)... We told him long before to do it, but of course we are stupid... only DH had been there; done that... but anyway!

Mornin'... I have a massive sinus headache... ERR!!!
Need to rattle DS16 up and get him ready for work.. he got a babysitting job last night for the kids I used to watch...  He was supposed to drive but has yet to clean his car off or shovel so I'm driving him and when he gets home tonight; he can do what he was asked to do so he can drive again...DH is working from home so I will put together my treehouse pages upstairs... DD has to work at 2pm today... so I think I'll make sure she is up by noon and we will get her FAFSA filed today.. and make adjustments when we needed. DS12 needs to help me with a small list of chores... It's cold here today but nothing like the single digits of yesterday.. YUCK!! Ok, I have a small list today on my notebook paper that I'm going to work on.. some of it is easy; some of it is fun, some of it is cleaning... Need to get Adventureland ready to cut for tonight...

Morning
Woke up with a horrible headache  took some meds...hope they kick in soon  Just re-booked our WDW trip with the new code and saved about $350 on room (Pop) and tickets  ETA: In reality since we changed resorts we got room and tickets for less than our original room only ressie  Sarah has her first night off since Christmas; she's very excited! Planning on working on cutting pieces for the MK sketch swap Have a great day all

afternoon all
long couple of days here. Boss is out that's good and bad and will be out again tomorrow so I'm in for 7am. Normally I wouldn't mind but the -12 this am it was a bit cold and I didn't sleep good last night. left to do: rebandage burn (oven bit me yesterday) clean up some of the kitchen keeping above bandage dry restart wood fire not to warm in here nap maybe? call mom and dad? look for new dryer or swipe FIL's since he can't do stairs it's sitting there unused boys from bus homework? dinner??? make shopping list. Hope you're all staying warm! Have a great PM

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need. It was freezing here this morning too! A chilly 10 when I got in the car to head to work. Brrrrr! Christy, hope the "oven bite" heals quickly! Cheryl and Nan hope the headaches are gone. Betsy, hope you have a great trip. I always get super excited right before we leave! Rachal, hope you are enjoying your lazy day! Hope everyone else is getting their lists accomplished. Need to get off the computer and make dinner as I have a meeting at 7pm. My brief respite of no meetings is over. Back to reality!
