What do most 9 year old boys wear on formal and semi formal night?

Did not bring their dress shoes, had no room in the suitcases. I think they wore their black running shoes. In any case it did not stand out unless you were looking at peoples shoes...

I did the exact thing with DS. I did not pack him any dress shoes. He wore his black tennis shoes to dinner. I only packed 3 polo shirts for a 7 night cruise. He wore the polo shirts during dining and would change out of it immediately after dinner. He wore each one twice and his Jack Sparrow costume on pirate night. That saved room in the suitcase.

First time Disney Cruiser, just booked two days ago.

Leaving next Sunday 4 days on Dream.

I am having trouble understanding if there is a formal night or semi-formal night on this cruise. Anyone know?

No. 4 night cruises are Cruise Casual every night. There is one "Dress Up Optional" night, if you want to dress up.

I'm hoping my sons suit still fits for our cruise in March, but at least I know I can get away with nice pants and a shirt. Thanks!
