Fairly new... still gets a tag :)
HOLD THE PHONE!
I think it's easier to reason with a CHIMPANZEE than to reason with a tween/early teen!

Some of the gifts that my DS & DB (both 16 at the time) both loved:

a duct tape wallet... seriously. I don't know how they did it but it was a wallet complete with credit card slots and it was made out of duct tape.

a paper cup with candy or cookies (they got one of each and were quite ) to take up to the Eye Scream place and make their own blizzard-type thing.

candy

someone made a bookmark with a picture of the ship on one side and stickers from their hometown (NYC) on the other and then laminated it. DS LOVES it and uses it for his "silent reading" book for school.

I just wasn't sure lol, my brother who is 17 is no help when I asked him what he would like. Candy for ice cream is a great idea!

You can't miss my DH. He's a big burly USMC redneck w/ a fanny pack and acting like a kid who can't wait for the next ride at WDW.

DS14 likes to read...but, on his terms. (at least he likes to read)

Anyway, we *fought* over who got to keep the bookmarks. He really likes the bookmarks. The ones we got have hidden Mickeys.

I bought earbuds and the cord winds into a round thing in the middle and I'm putting a puffy Mickey head sticker on the round area in the middle. I got them for both the teenage boys and girls.
