We have reserved and paid for Disney transfers through our TA (Dreams Unlimited) When I was completing our online check in it wouldn't let me check Disney transfers, I had to chose something else so I went with private transfer. Is this going to be a problem?

Also how does this work, we are being picked up from AOA and returning to POR. Will we know what time they will be picking us up before we leave for AOA. Also does Disney transport our luggage for us? If so do we need to check in somewhere and drop it off or do we take it to the bus with us?

Thanks for your help, I am really clueless about this entire process.

You won't know your actual pickup time at AoA until the day prior to embarkation day. You receive a notice in your room as to what time to have your bags ready (leave them in your room) for pick up that morning (usually around 8:00 am).

The DCL transfers pickup between 11:30-12:30. Your specific pickup time will depend on how many stops your particular bus will be making (max is 3 resorts) before it head to the port.

It doesn't matter. I think the issue is that people can change their mode of transportation and forget to update their on line registration...another glitch in the DCL system.

As above, your luggage will be taken from your room usually between 8 and 8:30. You need to have it ready with the DCL tags applied. Your luggage will go on a truck and you will see it on the ship. You will get the info letter the day before the cruise giving you the exact time you need to be at the meeting place to check in for the bus. Only your carry ons (day bag) will need to go on the bus with you.

Another point. Since you have a WDW stay both before and after the cruise, if you have things that you don't want to take on the ship, you can have WDW transfer luggage from AOA to POR and have it waiting for you when you return. No charge other than an appreciated tip.
