Nonexpiring tickets

I was looking at prices today on the WDW website:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/

And I don't see where you can add the 'non-expiring' option. Did they take it away?

The site is not designed correctly for easy viewing.

I'd just buy the tickets from Undercovertourist.com (CLICK HERE) and save some money, to boot.

Oh, OK Thanks! Not ready to buy yet (my DD is saving up for one), and I was worried they took that option away.

I read elsewhere that buying them from Disney required a call these days as they weren't selling them on the website.. that was what ONE CM told a caller earlier this week.

Who knows if that's true or if they are just making up stuff to cover for the disaster of a website relaunch.

I just hope that they are not going to do away with selling them any longer otherwise I will purchase from UT before they sell out.

We always purchase 10 day non expiring and they usually last 3-4 visits since we don't go to the parks every day. I have a lot of plusses and now just buy the 10 day.

Thanks.

That was what I was thinking. My DD is saving up to buy one, but if they are going to disappear for good, I would want to buy them before they sold out completely.

I wonder when/how we will find out if this is the case or not?

Zero indication that they are getting rid of the No Expiration option - only that they are not selling it online. Speculation as to why.

Not impossible that they won't get rid of them altogether...it may not work well with what I'm currently deciphering about FastPass+ and tickets...

The more pieces fall together the uglier the whole proposal looks.

I've been a huge Disney fan for years.. I mean 20+ years.. of park visits, tickets, overpriced meals, stuffed animals and over priced park merchandise, snacks, doo-dads, whats-its and a whole lot more.

But this has the serious potential to take the parks back to the dark ages for many guests and to further fill those long empty queue areas at rides POTC, Splash etc..

If this plays out as I suspect, I won't be in any of those lines.. or anywhere near Disney. And I don't make the "I won't go anymore" threats. I really will go elsewhere.

Used to go to Vegas a lot, could start going back there.. cost is about the same.

Hi. Can you please tell me what you are referring to being taken back to the dark ages. Are yiu referring to FP Plus? I havent been reading any threads regarding fp (I use to be a FP Hoarder) and is it getting bad? I have to start reading up since going to BLT end of August. Thanks so much.

yes FP+ .. it will add prebooking rides and actually pre-ordering your meals to the list of options but ... it takes away a LOT of spontaneity and fun in my book. I don't want to book my rides 2 months before I get there.. And if I don't, it would appear my other option will be the standby line.

No thanks.

Not sure what all they are talking about but I can tell you that you can't be a FP hoarder anymore. No late FP are being accepted anymore.

So is the rumor is that FP+ will be the only thing offered?? And for only those staying on-site??

It's all speculation at this point but that seems to be the case. This is why I said "If this plays out as I suspect.."

When FP came along, I didn't have the same sense of dread and the complete opposite of anticipation ... antianticipation? LOL

Maybe I'll be delighted when the final product rolls out.. but my sense right now is that I will very unhappy with this program and therefore far less interested in visiting Disney going forward.
