Help me decide which hotel
Please help, I need all of your expert advise. We are planning a trip to WDW for late September 2013. It will be me, DH, DS (2 1/2), our newborn who will be about 3 months, and my parents. We want to do something special for DS before I go back to work from maternity leave. We know we want a 1 bedroom villa for us and my parents are going to get a regular room at whichever resort we chose. I have narrowed it down to BLT, WL Villas, or BC Villas. Our last trip, this October, we stayed at BLT, and loved the convenience to the MK, being on the monorail and all the different restaurant choices at the hotel. However, we were not too impressed with the theaming. So I can't decide if BLT is worth the extra money again this year. Convenience getting to the parks is probably the most important factor to us this trip, and with 2 little ones I assume we will spend more time at the MK. Although, we do like going to all the parks. DS has some sensory issues, and while he did wonderfully almost the whole trip, the one thing he could not handle were the crowded morning bus rides to DHS and AK. He does fine on the monorail and boats, so I want to minimize as much as possible bus trips. Please help me decide which resport would be best! Thanks for your help!

We stayed at WLV last June with DS6, 2 DD3's, and MIL. The boat to MK was awesome. Usually were arriving to park in less than 10 min after departing the dock. The boats were not as crowded as the bus and there was more room to spread out too. Many times we just pushed the double stroller on without folding it.
We like the theming, kids loved it too. We are staying at BLT this June (never been there before), but was strongly considering going back to WLV. Just thought we'd try something different. |

If it were me, I'd go with AKV or VWL. AKV if he loves animals. We hardly ever take buses. It's very easy to get a taxi at either of those 2 resorts. You will find big crowds in the mornings for either the buses or monorail because of all the character meals at the monorail resorts. 8 out of 10 times we do not get right on the monorail and sometimes have to wait for it to top 4 or 5 times before we can board.

We've stayed at WL several times and love this resort. Beautiful theming, nice pool, decent CS at Roaring Forks, and all under 1 roof. Of a short walk from villas. Love watching the Electric Water Parade from the beach. Boat ride to MK, and also a resort boat to CR & FW.
When you are going at the end of sept. you shouldn't have a problem with crowded busses. Crowds are pretty low.

Thanks for all the helpful advise! For those of you who used taxis did you have young children? What did you do about car seats? We will probably have the infant carrier for the baby but I'm not sure what we would do with DS? Do Florida taxis even let children ride without car seats?
