Vinylmation for Signing

Last time we were on a Disney Cruise 2 years ago we brought a pillow case to get signed. Now we are cruising in a week and we got a 9" plain white Vinylmation to get characters to sign.

My question is, is the 9" Vinylmation too big to get signed? Should I just through it a big ziplock with the Sharpies or should I package it differently?

I know it's recommended to send along some treats for the cast members with the item to be signed. What goodies would you send along to assure getting the most signatures on the Vinylmation? Thanks

I had a 9" vinylmation signed this past spring break. It was one of the light green, glow-in-the-dark ones. I managed to fit it into a gallon-sized Ziploc bag with 2 black sharpies and a bag of Hershey's Miniatures candy bars. I had seen photos of other vinylmations, and I decided I liked the look of all black autographs. I was really happy with the way it turned out!

That must look really cool when it glows. I think we'll go with colored Sharpies. My daughter and I are already arguing over who gets to keep the autographed Vinylmation.

Hershey minis sound like a good idea. Any other suggestions on a treat that is preferred with the cast members?

Colored Markers

If you go with color markers be sure to use the darker colors.

I included yellow and a light green and they are hard to read on the vinylmation.

It looks good but you have to get up pretty close to see those signatures

I just had our 9" vinylmation signed in October. They did a FABULOUS job! I wrote a note saying I would love to have Mickey, the Princesses and as many other characters as possible. It is covered (including Captain Jack Sparrow!)

I put tubes of mini M&Ms and some pop rocks in the ziploc bag and a thank you with my request. I also wrote our name on the bottom of Mickey's foot just in case.

I've been looking for a 9" vinylmation to bring on our cruise but have had no luck. Would you mind sharing where you got yours?

I could only find one at Downtown Disney in the Pin Trader store. The Disney Character Store at Sawgrass Mills Mall had a white 9" with brick imprints. I thought that would be hard to write on. The one from Downtown Disney is nice and smooth.

We put bags of different kinds of Werther's candies in the ziplock bag. I also dropped off some current magazines as I had read on another Dis thread that the CMs really enjoy them.

I found one on eBay. I looked for 3 months for one. They are hard to find. I guess they stopped making the blank ones.
