Happy New Year on Fantasy

WOW. An amazing, beautiful ship. Great food, great staff and the kids are loving the club. We had a wonderful NYE party and fireworks. Having a blast with the FE gifts!

Enjoying Sapphire Beach right now!

Congrats and a ?

Can you tell me if they're still giving these inaugural tote bags as the gift on the fantasy? We are on the final inaugural cruise and hoping we'll get one. (I can't get the picture to work. Here's the link:

Any other info on anything unique to inaugural cruises would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Laura

The only thing I noticed was the merchandise in the shops. Dated 2012-2013 inaugural cruises.

I LOVE cruising over NYE. Otherwise I'm usually asleep. We had a fantastic evening. Formal night with lobster for dinner, Aladdin show, party hats and horns. Party on deck, free champagne with a dated plastic fancy "glass" near midnight, dancing, music, countdown and then fireworks. We did also get a print I think. So many gifts as a castaway member, DVC member I can't keep it all straight. They are more expensive. I booked mine when the itinerary opened. Lots of kids but its a great time. Downfall of NYE was St Thomas the next day with Pirate night that night and San Juan next day. Makes a person tired. Having a blast though. Also the ship and characters are fabulous decorated for the holidays.

I priced it out for next new years and the cost is double any other times. do you feel its worth the extra? spending over seven thousand for two seems a lot to me so just wondering.

Did the Christmas Cruise
It was great I did it on DVC points which wasn't bad
There are time when DVC points are bad deal but they weren't much more then August when we normally go.
I would to take a cheap cruise but DW working in the schools it is impossible
But if DW didnt work couldnt afford it anyway

We are on the 2013 Fantasy New Year's Cruise. I booked it as soon as it was available, cat 7A, 2A 2K 11&14, with Ins. no discounts, paid $7800. ouch! but now we are glad we booked early. Prices have gone way up.

What are the temps? Can you go into the pools? How about the AquaDuck? How are the nights?

On past NYE cruises, they have done fireworks only on NYE, not on pirates night.
