I am working from 10am until 4pm and then heading to my Aunt's for dinner. Nothing exciting but I do have the next three days off and plan to be lazy for at least one of them.

Oh that makes me jealous. We have about 12 inches of snow on the lawn and it's a whopping 12 degrees right now. I probably won't see my lawn for another 2 months.

I need to remember to move to a warmer climate.

I don't know who is hosting the event in the US as I live near Vienna, so it's on our national TV, I just know that it's broadcasted almost everywhere in the world.
It's a family tradition to watch the concert very year, my daughter hates it, but is lucky this year, still sleeping so she missed the first part

Just googled PBS: yes, that's the concert

I usually host a 30 plus family member dinner with lots of games and football watching but this year DH and several other family members are sick with that Influenza A virus so I'm playing nurse and will be watching football on my own.

Cleaning up after a very "not fun" NYE family gathering that I got snowballed into having(after just having 50 people here for Christmas eve-my choice ). Cleaned all day yesterday, now have a huge mess to clean again. blah... On a positive note, hitting the treadmill and starting our jar of goodness. Saw this on facebook, as good things happen thruout the year, going to jot them down and store in a jar... then next NYE will sit down as a family, empty the jar and count our blessings.

Tomorrow, I'll be watching the Rose Parade on tv. I'm cooking a pot roast in the crockpot, and spending the rest of the day undecorating the house.

How will you be spending the first day of the new year?
Do you really want to know?

Let's see, I will be taking care of kids with the flu, (influenza A). Then crossing my fingers that I don't have it. I am wearing a mask around my dh.

Also I am caring for my dh who came home from the hospital yesterday. He had a heart attack and then a triple bypass.

I will be showering him pretty soon here. He looks pretty nasty.

My house is a wreck. My Dyson broke.

In other words for me it is Tuesday.

Side note....Flu A looks like a cold. Some people are not even having fevers with it. Get swabbed if you are sick.

DH and I are home alone, drinking coffee, watching The Twilight Zone marathon. Then, when ds comes home, we are going car shopping. Throw in a quick stop at the grocery store, and that's my day.
Oh yeah, and being on the DIS.

Nothing much. Hanging out in my jammies, drinking wine (*later, not now!).

Football for DH and I'll be texting back and forth with my SIL's, while doing online research, trying to figure out where we want to go next winter for our vacation.

Oh, and laundry.

Today we'll be watching lots of football!

Later on DD8 wants me to take her to the AG store for the 2013 Girl of the Year activities. She couldn't get out of bed in time to get there when the store opened, so it has to be sometime after the Outback Bowl.
