Since I'm down here at WDW, I'm planning to be up and out the door for rope drop at MK.

I will start taking down decorations tonight and finish up tomorrow sometime. I thought about leaving them up til this weekend since I got in the spirit so late this year, but I'm ready to pack it in.

Otherwise, it will be a lazy day at home. My parents just left to fly home today.

Oh, good, I'm not the only one! This is the first year in 5 that I don't work NYE AND New Years Day morning. Even the years that I didn't work my ex-bf hated NYE so he would got bed by 9 and it was no fun. This year I've made a few good friends and we all have today and tomorrow off by a stroke of luck, so we will be enjoying it together!

Meeting some friends for breakfast. Now that we are all parents, instead of staying out late on NYE, we get up early on New Years day to celebrate. Much easier and no hang over!

Watch the Tournament of Roses Parade, cross stitch, make the mini pizzas for dinner. Oh and laundry.

It's just another day for me at my house except for the parade.

I must be the only person who doesn't watch the Rose Parade. I'll be watching the Philadelphia Mummers Parade and then head to my mom's for the afternoon.

I may go to South Philadelphia later in the day to see what we consider the "real" parade. After the march down Broad Street they head down to 2nd Street where most of the clubs are based. I grew up down there and haven't been down in about 5 years since my aunt stopped having open house. If I skip that I'll head to my son's and watch football with his family and my DH who NEVER spends the day with me since we don't watch football.

Nope! I haven't gone to a NYE party since I've been old enough to drink.

sadly, taking DD to the aiport for her return to San Francisco. We just got her back from college (we live in IL and she attended in Sarasota) and then she was offered a great job in CA, so lost her again. She was able to come home for a week this Christmas tho, which we loved! I am dreading the 7 am drive to the airport, will be so depressing, but she has a great future ahead of her so I keep focusing on that!
On the up-side, the college DH and I attended,(NIU) their football team is in the Orange Bowl vs. Fl State...very exciting for us so we will watch that in the evening! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watching football on TV, even though my team didn't get to go to a bowl game. But we are having pork roast, potatoes/carrots, sauerkraut and rolls for dinner. I will keep up with my exercise routine most definitely. But really just relaxing and doing whatever.
