so what do your 19 and 20 year olds do while cruising?
I know what some do at college, but not on a family trip.
I am concerned about some in our party. |

We took our 19 year old on one of our cruises and the 18-21 group (then called the College Social Hour) was not real big (I think about 14 or so). They wound up sort of breaking up into 2 smaller groups of 6 or 7 (different ones) and he was pretty much not with us except for dinners and excursions. He seemed to enjoy himself. You can keep them with you. Over 18 can be in any of the adult areas, they just can't drink alcohol until they are 21. And yes, they will be carded. ![]() EDIT: More specifically, some of the the things they did were, group breakfasts/lunches (with assorted CMs); particpated in the Mickey 500 (little race cars made out of veggies); lots of swimming at all hours; movies; just "hanging out".

Yes they can be in the night clubs at night..our then 20 year old loved being in the clubs every evening..on the cruise, the 18-21 meet at 10 and visited and then more to the night club for the fun.. in fact we have been on several cruise since and the CMs always remember our sons, not us but the "kids" as they were such fun.
Our servers too remember the "kids"

Actually Disney moves kids to the adult category at 12 or so! Check the prices you pay for the dining plan at WDW!

I will have to encourage my DD to attend the College M&G - presumably, it won't matter if she's not actually 'in college'. She will be 20 (almost 21) when we cruise and I have to say I'm concerned that she will be a bit bored hanging with her parents the whole time. There are a couple of others around her age in our DIS group but most of them are over 21 so can drink. It would be nice if she could hang out with those who are in the same boat as her (literally).

anyone 18 and over can be in the clubs at night...just no alcohol unless you're 21 or over. Non-alcoholic beverages are available...at the bars and clubs they'll be charged for sodas and juices and that sort of thing though.
