Rain with segway tour - The DIS Discussion Forums

I will be doing the segway tour next week in Epcot. Has anyone ever had issues of rain and then the tour getting canceled? I'm just curious how it might be handled if rain does occur. TIA!

We've done the tour a couple of times, and this is what I was told when I asked that same question:

In case of rain (I am not sure how hard it has to rain), you only do the inside portion of the tour and get some of your money refunded. That would really stink, because the outside portion of the tour is by far the most fun.

Hope it doesn't rain on the day you have your tour scheduled!

We had a rainy day when we had this scheduled in 2009. They let us switch to another day. This might not be an option all the time (either they are fully booked or your schedule might not allow for another day).

We were also allowed to switch to a different day. We've done the tour 2 times and it's so much fun! Hope the weather holds out for you!
