Privacy of Verandas?
How "private" are the verandas? Can the people next to you look right over, or how about above you? I hadn't really thought about it until last night my DF was asking how "private" the veranda would be... let's just leave it at that...

You can lean over the rail and into the neighbors verandah. So I would not do anything too risqué out there!

I consider myself pretty adventurous..and they are NOT private enough unless you are out in the middle of the night and VERY quiet.

How do you know if you have a clear or solid verandah?

Depending on where your verandah is, people may also be able to see down into it from above.

Well even on a more innocent note I was curious about the privacy in general also...

It is easy to lean over if you want to talk with the people on the next verandah....
Depending on location, you may be seen from above as well. |

Also, anything said can also be heard loud and clear. There really is no privacy on the veranda, but it is very nice out there, especially if your neighbors aren't outside having a loud conversation or a cigarette or cigar.

And even then... I know we had a verandah and I was up at weird hours... There are people up at all hours. And I was able to see into a ton of people's verandahs.

On our first Wonder cruise we were almost all the way aft....even though we felt isolated on one side of our verandah from neighbors, one of the ship's security cameras pointed directly toward us. So not very private....

Too funny.
I was impressed how tight the partitions were. We had zero gap at the hinge for the connecting veranda door. Other ships have an inch or so gap at the bulkhead and at the hinge. The Fantasy is tight.
