Italian or German?

If you could only choose one which would it be ... Biergarten or Via Napoli?

Biergarten for us, love the entertainment! The band is wonderful! (And I can't get enough pretzel bread, cauliflower soup & spaetzel:-)

I've never eaten at Biergarten, but I am a Pizzaholic and really enjoyed Via Napoli. FWIW, as much as I enjoyed all my TS meals this year, VN is the one I'm going back to next year, and is my only TS next year that I've been to before (the others will all be new to me). Every time GoofyinToronto posts that picture of the Quattro Formaggio pizza, my tummy growls.

Two of our top favorites. Can't go wrong with either one.

I like Tutto Italia better but I would still go Via Napoli over Biergarten

Having said that here in NJ there are about 8 billion italian restaraunts, many of which are good. So german food is a little more unusual for me so I might pick that for uniqueness

I've eaten at both

and loved both so I'd go to both Do one for lunch and one for dinner!

They are different experiences and totally different food choices

I like both, but if I could only do one, it'd be Via Napoli.

If doing both though, I do Via Napoli for lunch and Biergarten for dinner. Dinner is the only time Rouladens (spelling?) are on the Biergarten buffet and they are my favorite item (beef roll ups with pickel in the middle).

We walked in just to see the action at the Biergarten with our kids, they looked interested and entertained. I think that would be great if it would keep them in their seats, don't know how much they would eat tho based on sensory-lights, music, smells of food, drinking of beer, men in lederhosen, etc.
We never ate at the Italian restaurants but LOVE that kind of food and the places were packed, we couldn't get in without reservations.

We love the Biergarten for the food and entertainment. But then again, I had to laugh at the above comment because I say the same thing - we are from South Jersey and you can get Italian everyday and everywhere. We actually do the Biergarten at the beginning and end of our trip - they have a good selection. If you are party of less than 8, they may sit you with others, but we have met some great people that way!
