I'm here now. Rope drop has been amazing! Walk on rides for the first hour or two. By 1030 the crowds are crushing, but with FP you are still ok till noon. We are going to try our first late night tonight.

I wouldn't suggest rope drop unless you're going during a busy time or are morning people in general. We usually pick a park day and then hop over to whatever's open in the evening!

~IMO, getting to the parks at rope drop or within the first hour & leaving at park close is the best of both worlds! It's like getting two experiences in one. We spend very little time in our room, lol. I totally understand this isn't for everyone, but if you can manage to do both -- it's so awesome! If not, then don't push yourself -- your trip should be about having fun, not "seeing & doing" everything. Have fun!
