Quick help needed...
Currently booked in room 7566 on the fantasy (midship near elevator which I wanted) in a 5C, but a 5D 6580 has opened and we would get a $60 refund if I switch - I have it sitting there ready to hit 'enter' - but is it worth $60 for this switch down a category? Same similar location and good reviews on the room.
Would you switch or leave it? I figure $60 is not much but better in my pocket than DCL... lol. |

I don't think you can just switch if you are paid in full. Wouldn't you have to cancel your current res, lose your deposit and rebook the new room?

As long as you are keeping the same cruise date it is not a cancellation. Friends have switched before when a lower category opened up and got a refund even. Make the switch. You still know your room location and $60 is enough to cover Palo.

Check the location of the new stateroom carefully before you switch. Avoid cabins directly over the Buena Vista theater as the sound from the movies can be quite noticeable in these rooms.

Thanks!! I decided to stay put and not mess up my reservation at all for $60, but what does suck is the Vgt rate is $500 less, but oh well.... Lol

When you first book your cruise, you lock in prices across all categories so if you up or downgrade, you'll change to older prices, not present-day pricing. |
