Football game shown?

On Dec 30th-1:00- Green Bay Game shown on Fox. Will there be anyway to watch this on the ship (Dream)-live-or replay later? I will be laying on the beach at Castaway Cay, but my brother-in-law is hoping to catch this game. Thanks for any advice!

The answer is "maybe"!

There is usually a decent amount of football coverage aboard but you'll obviously only get one audio. Not sure about the rules if you're docked at Castaway. They should have an afternoon/evening game or two up in 687 (Pub, adult section, deck 4 aft) while you're sailing for sure.

Just gave a much more long-winded response over in the NCAA thread if you want to check that out.

Edited to add: I do recall watching a bit of a game on a Sunday afternoon before boat drill while still docked at PC. Since the Dream usually sails ON Sunday we're not typically in the pub that early.

While not technically your question, they usually do try to show the big games. When we went on our first Mexican Riviera cruise in 2011 we left on Superbowl Sunday. I was worried, being a Green Bay fan that I would miss the game, but we didnt! While we were in the LA port we had the local over the air signal, which was nice, and then once we left we had to switch over to ESPN Puerto Rico, which was interesting to watch. The sad thing is we missed all the funny commercials in the second half. They even delayed our muster drill until the next morning, I guess they figured it would be hard to get everyone to go to the drill when the Super Bowl was on.

We were on board Jan 3 - 8th this year and they showed one of the football playoff games (Lions vs Saints I think) on the big screen by the pool.
