Tips for Nassau

We want to get off the ship for awhile in Nassau. Look around, shop, Eat. Any suggestions on a good place for Sea Food?

Gonna subscribe to this, I'd like to know too

We're going to CC twice so will have lots of beach time there. I don't have much interest in Atlantis or nature hikes. But we were thinking it would be nice to get off and shop and eat a bit.

Hope someone has some ideas.

My best advice would be to stay on the ship.

But if you have not been to the Bahamas before and want to look around there is a lot of shops in walking distance. They are VERY pushy so be prepared. You could also take a carriage ride around the island. I would go back to the boat for food.

The locals like to eat at "The Fish Fry". It's an area where there are about 10 different seafood restaurants that serve fresh seafood. Ask your taxi driver which restaurant they like best, they will enjoy telling you about it.
