Just got off the fantasy...
Absolutely loved it!!! We stayed in a deluxe room with a verandah (9016). Awesome location! Let me know if you have any questions!

Glad to hear you had such a great time. My DH and I will be on the Fantasy in February to celebrate our 6th Anniversary and I would love to know if there are any little known secrets you discovered that are "not to miss". Also, how was the adult entertainment in the bars/night clubs at night? We are sailing without the kids this time and hope to enjoy some quality adult time on this cruise. Did you enjoy all the shows? Any particular one that was your favorite? How were the non-production show acts, i.e., comedians, magicians, etc? Did you find the adult pool areas to be quiet and relaxing? Is the Cove Cafe a large area or cramped and crowded all the time? Did you do the Remy Brunch and, if so, how was it? Did you do any of the tastings? I am interested in the mixology and champagne tastings. Sorry for all the questions. I am just very excited to be going on the cruise. Thank you for any information you have to my questions.

We may have been on the same sailing with the OP. We were on the Fantasy 12/8-15 in cabin 9044.
The PP asked about adult locations. My wife and I are older (retired) and enjoyed the quieter locations. Our best time was in Skyline Lounge (Kovac, the bar tender there was wonderful) and in Meridian on Deck 12. Meridian is a great place to be on a day you are leaving one of the islands. You can watch the island recede into the distance as the sun goes down. Very romantic. We did Remy brunch and dinner. Made the mistake of booking both on the same day. Since you're celebrating, I'd go with Remy brunch or dinner. Brunch is the less expensive of the two choices. We did the champagne pairings at brunch (well worth it) but went with just a bottle of wine at Remy dinner - expensive but still less than the cost of the wine pairings. Our server both meals was Almondine. We also did Palo dinner two nights. One was a spur of the moment thing. We normally book Palo for Pirate Night but this trip I managed to get it wrong and booked it a night later. On Pirate Night, about 4:30 my wife and I looked at each other and said "I wonder if we can get into Palo". A few phone calls later we had a table for two at 8:00 pm. We also kept the reservation for the second night so we had two great meals at Palo, trying different items each night. Our server there was Zuze (sounds like Susie). |

Things not to miss on Fantasy
Palo Brunch.
The ventriloquist act if he is still there. The tube at 10 pm or any game type shows that Trevor is hosting (he is a riot) The senses spa deal for under $20/day where you get access to the saunas, special showers, private hot tubs and hot beds. Cove cafe for a late night specialty coffee. The adult areas on decks 11-13 at the front of the ship. A picture with mickey. Cast away cay. |

To the poster who said they did remy brunch and dinner, what times did you do both?
If you had to pick one (not based on price) which would you do? I do love champagne but figure the dinner may be better food wise and I could just ask to pair with some champagnes without any package. Thanks |

Do not miss the Rainforest Room. We enjoyed it so much. My husband and I were in there every day. It's so much nicer on the Fantasy than on the classics.

The dilemma about which to chose for my next cruise is weighing heavily on my mind right now. So far we have decided to do only Brunch. We found the whole dining experience at Brunch and Dinner to be comparable. There really isn't any difference in food quality and the service was equal. Since Brunch is less expensive, and the champagne pairing is reasonably priced, we're probably going to just go with the Brunch in January. |

We're cruising in February. I imagine that our weather will be similar. Can you tell me if you remember if the outside stairs leading up to the Aquaduck were hot? My DS hated standing on the hot steps when we were on the Dream last June. Thanks for your help!
