Magic & Dry Dock

I'm reading that Magic will be going into dry dock in 2014 ??? I believe.
Is she still in great shape or should we consider waiting to sail on her after dry dock? I've read so many nice posts about her but concerned that she may be looking a bit worn?? Please tell me if you have had a recent sailing on her and her condition. Thank you.

I spent 8 nights on her in July. She is still in wonderful shape!
The crew takes very good care of her, always painting and cleaning her.

The magic is actually going into dry dock at the end of next years med cruises. Well she may appear to be in good shape, a lot of what they do in dry docks is to keep her in good shape. Stuff like repainting and inspecting the haul, checking the propellers and many other things they can only do with her out of the water

We got off the Magic just over a week ago. The ship looked just fine. As noted, the crew is constantly cleaning, painting, varnishing, and doing general maintenance.

The ships go into dry dock every two to three years for maintence and repair a lot of this is to keep the intrastructure of the ship in top form. From what I understand the 2013 dry dock for the Magic is going to be 4-6 weeks vs the "regular" dry dock of about 10 days. Many are waiting to see what changes may be made after the dry dock. Some are hoping for the enclosed Quiet Cove area like on the Wonder which is really nice. Some are hoping for a change in Aninamtors Pallet to be like the Dream class ships. It will be interesting to see what happens!

The next dry dock for the Magic is in the fall of 2013 after the Med cruises.
