Eastern Caribbean - What should honemooners do at the ports???
Okay so we've set the date and booked the Honeymoon. Now we're looking into the places and what we can do!! I need suggestions from people of what is good for adults and what would not be fun. We have kids, we love kids, and we don't mind kids around us, but we don't want to do anything that is geared towards kids! We also are not big drinkers (anymore at least!) so we don't want do do anything that features alcohol. Any suggestions on what to do, where to go, how not to get taken advantage of by locals, so on?
Suggestions for activities on the ship area also very welcome!

Well I wouldn't call my suggestion "quiet and romantic" or anything normally associated with a honeymoon but we did this port adventure in St. Maarten and loved it. Definitely was fun, exciting, interesting, interactive and a learning experience.
Not geared towards kids, as you notice the minimum age is 12. There were a few teens on our excursion and they seem to all be having a great time! Good luck deciding - and have fun - no matter what you choose!

Everyone gets assigned a "job" and you learn how to work/sail the boat and then you race the other group!
It was about 3.5 hours all together. Ours was in the afternoon but I don't recall if there was a morning option offered through Disney. After conversation with the company I do know that the company offers multiple outings per day. There is also a shop you can visit at the end that has company gear. We got a couple of tees and a couple of gifts which were unique to bring home. We were pretty tired afterward! Our friends that usually sail with us chose to do an excursion at another port so they went shopping and then spent time in the adult areas on the ship.

I loved doing the Rhino Riders in St. Maarten. It was so much fun and different than a jet ski.

It St Thomas we did the turtle cove and lovers beach excursion and I would highly recommend it. It was fun and swimming with the Sea turtle's was lots of fun and the beach after wasn't too busy. We had lots of families with us but the beach was large enough to find your own space.

Yea. Get away from the touristy places. Last time we were there we spent apx 80.00 and had a private driver for day. We stopped at every place we saw. Didn't have to worry about what other people wanted. It was great. We also did this in St thomas and St Martin .
