Taking a stab at shirts

Eric ( rides) Space Mountain - the one with all the words.
and MAybe the RnR shirt?

Evan ( funny) the Pirate periodic table and while I like the ToT one I like the homedroid one more.
in fact maybe both boys got the Pirate shirt. WIld stab in the dark.

The last day wrap up and chilling before the dreaded Magical depress.

MEK - can't wait to see where you go what you eat and what you take pictures of.

The one on the right for Eric:

.. Because you said it was on his list. And because it's got good colours.

This one for Evan because it's a fun ride, but also a funny shirt and that's what was on his list.

I totally forgot about the periodic table. That was definitely a cute one.

Pat - I took SO MANY PICTURES after Cynthia left. I might need three updates to get through all of them. I hope to post tonight or tomorrow.

See now - I guessed the one on the left. That would have been my pick for myself or one of my kids. Too much reading on the other one. I'm too ADD for that.

But I definitely agree with your pick for Evan. I love that T!

Loving the guesses! Keep 'em coming! Thinking I'll let this run at least through the weekend.

And for the record....There was only one shirt shown in AK and I will make it easy on everyone as I am lazy.

No one got a shirt from AK. Reasons why will become clear in my other TR.

C.
Nice pics for the F&W.
Happy Anniversary Epcot.
I am trying to see if that man being filmed was on the updated specials on TV last week. I cannot tell.

M.
Good choice you made there. Now did you hear that they are knocking down Soarin’ so it won’t be there anymore. LOL
That is sad about Tracy.
Loved the pic of HHI. I hope I can make it there one day.

C.
That is a nice pic and can see why you liked seeing daily.
Nice way to end the trip relaxing by the pool.
Is that “On The Border” you go to in the airport?
Congrats on the BWV purchase.
Those were some nice purchases you bought. I have no guesses. LOL

All caught up again.

I am sorry for your last moments. I think spending them by the pool was a great thing to do though! And... is it bad that I kinda like clowns?

The baggage woes suck... DME sucks... line at security... that too sucks. What looks like it didn't though is that margarita and gauc!!! YUM. I think I will need to know where that was.

Also... the meal on Alaska, what was that?

As for the tees for the boys. I would be totally guessing. However, in looking through your pics again I have to tell you i was amazed. I guess I never realized just HOW MANY shirts there are in WDW!!!

Evan

Its a cool shirt of one and a favorite ride.

Second

it kinda pokes fun of the monorail. so it is funny...but at his age needing to feel like he his showing that he doesn't think Disney is so cool might be a plus.

For Eric

Kinda funny and a favorite ride.

A second for Eric

Cause SM shirts were on his list.

Oh well.. fun to guess.

You just wait till you are there. At least stop by once. Heck do it with a cocktail but really, it's not. Believe me, I've had clown phobia ever since the 1978 movie Magic. I realize that was a dummy and not a clown but it sparked overall issues.

I'm going to guess on the t-shirts:

Eric - 1) black space mountain - I thought this was his favorite ride
2) Aerosmith RNR with blue guitar

Evan - 1) ToT black with dropping elevator
2) pull my fender - Mater - just that type of humor he'd probably appreciate

Jeff - Beers around the world
Guesses noted and BOO is right!

I think I last saw the bears with the boys back in 2004, but like you, it is a nostalgic attraction from visits of long ago.
No, not many people at all! Thank you on the pictures, I deleted a LOT of blurry ones and many of these aren't all that clear and the colors aren't quite right either. Oh well. If I knew what I was doing it would help immensely.

I am very excited to stay there for NYE. A bit worried about boardwalk noise, Jeff's supersonic hearing and balcony size but I've done all I can at this point. If Jeff had his way we'd be there the whole trip, whereas the boys would be at THV. Trying to make everyone happy. Earlier in Dec would be lovely for crowds. Darn kids and school schedules anyway!

We did sign our contract in CA. By way of the Philippines

Uh...the Mexican Place next to Starbucks in the terminal Alaska lands at? I think it's called On the Border.

I'm assuming the clown is less scary in person then, because in pictures he still creeps the heck out of me.
Ugh, sorry to hear about the luggage checking issues.
I can't believe it's over! Thank you so much for sharing your trip! I enjoyed reading about it all. I'm going to come back later and guess t-shirts, I'm running late for work now!
Yeah, he is creepy in the pictures, I will give you that but he's awfully harmless up close.

Eric
Black ToT shirt with the falling elevator - Great ride, great shirt and it is funny.
Periodic Table of Pirates - Everybody likes that ride and it has humor that takes a little bit of thinking. It seems like that type of thing would actually fit both E's. I almost put this for Evan, but there seemed to be a glut of humorous shirts.

Evan
Who Backfired - He wants funny shirts. Who doesn't like/get this humor?
I'm Chillin with my Homedroids: Again, kind of like the Pirates shirt, I can see either of them liking this one, and I could just as easily put it under Eric.

Jeff
Brews around the World. I know you had to have purchased a shirt for him and this is the best of the bunch.

Let me just be honest here. Like I said, I have no idea specifically which shirts each of the E's would prefer. I just kind of went with the ones I liked the best.
I like your rationale! Guesses duly noted!

1. Space Mountain (gray shirt listing him as commander or whatever it was). Because boys like to think of themselves that way.
2. Black ToT shirt with the elevator falling off the end. Because it combines the ride and being funny.

Evan (funny ones):
1. Please stand clear of my vacation shirt. Has the added benefit of a monorail.
2. Pull my fender Mater shirt. Because, like Andy said, who doesn't laugh at this stuff?

I also agree with Andy that you got Jeff the Beers Around the World shirt.

On the Border is in the terminal that Alaska flies out of, right next to the Starbucks. The pasta was some kind of mushroom thing...either with pork or chicken. Funny thing is Jeff had a work trip back in April and had the same thing. He thought it was yummy too! I do love their fruit and cheese plate (can't go wrong with Beechers and Tilamook!) but preferred some of the older picnic packs to what they have now.

Yes, you and I always seem to share the pre-vacation drama, don't we?

Between the Scout Treasurer who sent an email to the entire troop on Tuesday, demanding payment for an event (one I'd had no prior notification of other than there would be a signup), without bothering to note whether my child or any other child for that matter had in fact signed up or what the amount due was...but wanted payment the next day at a leaders meeting that well...only leaders go to (I am not one, nor do I intend to be) with the statement that failure to pay would indicate that the scout was not interested in attending or had changed their mind (um, they are 12..11 in some cases, some of them...they have the attention span of a flea...failure to pay is um...failure to remember to notify and a demand is not exactly what I'd call a backup system of communication...) and then I made the mistake of saying this really wasn't sufficient notice and....

To a co worker who gave me a "over my dead body" response to my request to see (and format, edit if needed) his presentation prior to him giving it, which um...is my job and a company standard and...he doesn't get that choice Dude if you want me to market and sell your services, which is my job, that is NOT the way to go about it...you are smart, potentially really really smart but guess what, everyone at the company is and many are far more published with greater credentials and more at stake than you and they trust me so...

To a higher up meeting about how to market said prima donna who, bless him, really does know his stuff (not that he verbalizes it well) but has irritated a few folks and now I've got internal and external fences to mend on top of holding his hand and convincing him I am a resource, not the enemy who wants to steal his work product...

Oh AND get this...trying to get out one of those blasted emails out that seem to precede every trip.. you know the kind I kept trying to work on over the summer trip and the html changes that weren't "taking" on my end but it was really my boss who wasn't sending me changes he thought he had? Hard to address edits you've never seen...for this one he keeps adding items to what he wants in the email. Which means my chances for hitting "send" before I leave are decreasing by the minute, especially if content has to be created from scratch.

AND...the fact that Mothers Day is looking to be a bit of a bust no matter how I shake a stick at it and I'm being a total cranky baby about it... and I shouldn't. It isn't that bad. I really am being a brat and I have got to get over it.

to a rotten rotten head cold....and um other things that might make one be overly snappy
