Birthday on the Dream

I will be celebrating my 30th birthday on the Dream in April! Is the cruise kind of like WDW where they make a big deal of your birthday to make you feel special? I requested to be in the Animator's Palette for my birthday dinner. I let the Disney travel agent know it was going to be my birthday. Can anyone else share their birthday experiences?

Your servers will present you with a birthday dessert (a chocolate mousse thing), sing "Happy Birthday" and you'll receive a birthday button.

That's pretty much it.

It's really up to you. I was on the Disney Wonder for my birthday this year but I didn't want a fuss made and they they respected my wishes. I did enjoy a very nice dinner at Palo's for my birthday and my server asked if I wanted anything special to eat and I said that I would be able to pick something from the menu. They only thing my server arranged was a plate with the words "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate.
