can you get food to go from resort restaurants? specifically at swolphin

still can't decide what i'm going to be doing christmas night, so if i wanted to pick up food and bring it to my room at the swan, could i do that? it would be from il mulino, bluezoo, or shula's. i'm hoping to call and order and swing by, grab my food, and eat in my room. is this possible?

never mind, i called and asked. you are able to, which makes my life so much easier. the only thing is they said that shula's would require prepayment of the order, but that it's definitely doable

I can't speak for Shula's since I've never eaten there, but I just wanted to add that if you wanted to avoid dining at a formal restaurant table, but didn't want to eat in your room, Il Mulino and bluezoo both have bar areas where you can order and dine. You didn't ask, but Kimono's does takeout as well.

Also, note that if you plan to sign up for their frequent diner passport program, you need to go to one of the restaurants and get the card and fill out the forms the day before you dine because they won't give you points for your dine itself if you dine the same day you register. (This is different from the spg points you earn from charging your dining to your room, but the two programs are combinable.)

I'm looking forward to returning next weekend, myself.

thanks for the tip about the bars! what is this preferred diner program? what are the perks?
