tips for family of 5

My family of five myself, dd 8, dh and twins 3 have been to WDW many times. I'd like some advice on where to eat. I'd like to shake things up a bit. We do one table service a day and the odd counter service, plus cooking in the villa. I'm going late January and can't get inspired for my reservations. Really didn't like Boma in October. Mix of theme park restaurants and hotels please.

We are also a family of five. Our two favorite hotel restaurants were O'Hana, and the Wave. We loved the breakfast at Tusker House. The food and service was excellent. We did the Fantasmic! package at Mama Melrose and everybody loved that. We ate a very late lunch that day. It worked out very nicely!

At Downtown Disney we enjoyed Raglan Road. My daughter got to go up on stage and try Irish dancing with the troupe there. The only place we really didn't like was T-REX.

If you haven't tried Mama Melrose, it's great!
July 1992 - Caribbean Beach
Summer 1995 - offsite
November 2003 - Port Orleans Riverside
May 2007 - Disneyland Paris
October 2009 - Wilderness Lodge
April 2010 - Grand Floridian
August 2012 - Coronado Springs

We liked Mama Melrose's too but we liked T Rex. My son and his friend loved all the dinosaurs. We liked the food enough to say we would go back. It is a loud restaurant.
I just asked my kids what their favorite places were, they both said " T Rex! then my daughter said no wait Cinderella's dinner". What she is talking about is the dinner at the Grand Floridian, 1900 Park Fare. Which reminds me I had a good steak at the Grand Floridian cafe one time. I wouldn't mind going back there.

Hope you get inspired!

Fun, Festive restaurants like 50,s prime time, and the character buffets like the crystal palace restaurant. And the SI-FI if your children can take scary movie trailers.
